Job description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages to our customers in a timely and professional manner while following the proper protocols for each type of package. Key Responsibilities:

· Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers.
· Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
· Follow delivery schedules and prioritize deliveries based on urgency and freight type.
· Communicate with the dispatch team to receive delivery instructions and updates.
· Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and on time.
· Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
· Complete delivery paperwork and reports as required.
· Utilize hand multiple handheld scanners for multiple courier partners.
· Assist other drivers as needed
· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. (Insurance requirement)
· Minimum 2 Years of commercial driving experience. Must be Canadian driving experience (Insurance requirement)
· Must be 25 years old or older (Insurance requirement)
· Must provide clean criminal record check.
· Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
