Paul Bros Nextreme Inc. is currently looking to hire for a dependable Handyman with carpentry and mechanical experience to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our building to work in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories

Hours are based on a minimum 40 hours per week and flexible as our work week is Monday to Saturday in Yellowknife. Health benefits after 3 months’ probation. Wage is dependent upon experience, certifications and is competitive.

Responsibilities: 

·         Perform general handyman and carpentry work (repairs, installations, maintenance)

·         Handle basic mechanical repairs and maintenance

·         Conduct routine building checks and address maintenance issues

·         Respond to repair requests in a timely and professional manner

·         Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

·         Experience in handyman work, carpentry, and basic mechanical maintenance

·         Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues

·         Strong attention to detail and safety

·         Reliable and professional work ethic

Requirements:

·         Class 5 Drivers Licenser

·         Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance worker

·         Carpentry experience (repairs, framing, doors, cabinets, drywall, etc.)

·         Basic mechanical knowledge (equipment, fixtures, minor repairs)

·         Ability to perform general building maintenance and repairs

·         Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently

·         Familiar with basic hand and power tools

·         Strong attention to safety and quality of work

·         Good communication and time-management skills

·         Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

·         Physically able to perform maintenance tasks (lifting, standing, climbing ladders
