Are you a seasoned driver with a passion for mentoring others? Kam Lake Academy Ltd., a locally owned and operated driver training school in Yellowknife, NT, is seeking a Part-Time Truck Driver Training Instructor to help shape the future of commercial driving in the North.

???? Start Date: As soon as possible

???? Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and compliant instruction for Class 1 and Class 3 driver training programs.
• Support students through classroom theory, yard exercises, and in-cab practical sessions.
• Provide clear evaluations and feedback to promote safe driving habits and exam readiness.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold all regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Kam Lake Academy team to ensure consistent training quality.

✅ Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class 1 preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Northwest Territories and Canadian transportation regulations.
• Experience in adult education or driver instruction is an asset.
• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability for weekday and/or weekend sessions.
